I would maybe even wait until Hogwarts comes out to buy one of these consoles, as the price of the consoles may drop in that time. Obviously though, some people prefer the mobility and are willing to pay more for that.īut yes, since you have a laptop and aren't too into computers, and mainly want to play one game, I would definitely recommend getting the new Xbox or a PS5, whenever they become available. Laptops that are able to run modern AAA games are usually so expensive it's not usually worth it.

I'm not sure if you know this, but laptops (even gaming laptops) are generally not usually recommended by the PC gaming community anyways, because the performance you get for the price is not even close to as good as building a PC or even a pre-built desktop. Yeah, I looked into your laptop, and while it does have good specs, I can definitely see how it can struggle with gaming, as it's not built for video games. I've had the most luck with Target for pickups as your only competing against locals, and if your Best Buy stocks consoles than you'll have even more chances.
